Detoxing is and has been an in-trend for quite a while, and for obvious reasons. You may find a lot of products on the supermarket labeled detox drinks, but in reality they are filled with preservatives and do your body more harm than good.
Select fresh produce from the market and start with a few simple recipes like: apple, spinach and mint smoothie. Strawberry lemon and ice. Make sure you do not use any sugar or artificial sugar substitutes. Natural sugar alternatives like stevia are alright to use. Experiment with your palate for a few days, but also be ready to experience nausea, headache and fever. These are simply symptoms due to toxins releasing from your cells and polluting your bloodstream. But fear not, as you progress your body will naturally expel them giving you clearer skin, shinier hair and happier mind.
