health and mental retardation (MHMR) centers help
Texans with mental retardation and various mental
health conditions lead productive and fulfilling
lives. Nearly 200,000 Texas citizens and countless
families rely on services from dedicated professionals
working through community MHMR centers.
 
Texas Panhandle MHMR assists thousands of Panhandle
residents annually who experience mental illness,
mental retardation or developmental delays. Numerous
individuals have received services not only making
their life better, but saving their life.
All Texas Panhandle MHMR services are available to area residents without regard to race, national origin, sex, age, religion, or disability.
