The Individual Trainer works as part of a classroom treatment team at the TPMHMR Autism Day Treatment Program, with the daily coaching of the Classroom Trainer, implementing individualized ABA programs and treatment plans. Duties include: client supervision, client toileting/feeding/lifting and general personal care, client transportation and implementation of habilitation training/activities, with documentation of client response to daily activities for clients attending the Summer Program. Clients may range from 3 years old to 21 years old. Qualifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License; must be insurable under agency vehicle policy. Must have a minimum of eighth grade reading-comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test. Preferred qualifications: Experience assisting in arts, crafts, music, education, recreation, vocational, physical or occupational therapy, speech and hearing or audiology. (0762), (0803)
